OMG! You rock!
Of course everyone loves them and wants to be their friend; and she saves the Wizarding World from LV! *Sqeauls* That is so cool!
But why did you end it so tragically? I can't live on, knowing Mary is no more. What will we do in fanfic hell if Mary won't continue? *insert evil cackle* OH look, there is Mary Sue Two! sighs relieved, knowing Mary will always live on.
On a more serious note, I accidentally stumbled on your story when someone told me they couldn't find ours and I typed in our title "Mary and Gary go to Hogwarts" to see if it showed. XD Which prompted your and our fabulous (oh help) story. So naturally I had to read your amazing one shot and loved it.
Fortunately, we took a different route, because we are focusing on the Tom Riddle - Hermione Granger ship and they are our wonderful, amazing Mary and Gary. But I'll still place a reference (ffnet doesn't do links, alas) to yours in our next chapter's Authors' note. Yes, we are actually writing a multi-chaptered fic about Mary and Gary! WHY WHY WHY we do not know. Except for the obvious fact now that we must be masochists. ;)

Nice charities. And the line "Mary-Sue sniffled a little, "Can I call you daddy?" she asked hopefully. "Of course you can" Snape said, hugging her fondly." may just be the funniest line I've ever read.
