Sounds awfuly farmiliar... Like Sun and Shadow: Meetings. Let me see...
One evening in the twilight that is neither day nor night
The time part bred of shadow, and partly born of light
That is a direct Quote...
So now they meet at twilight, though they meet only to part,
Sad meetings, sadder partings, and the breaking of each heart.
Why blame them, if they pray for time and death to bring a cure?
For the sake of bitter loving, nonetheless they shall endure.
And So is that. Could you please explain that? My email is

This is sad, but it is the first time I've actually heard the tale of the shadowdancer and the Sunsinger. It's a wonderfully written piece of work. You might even try to get it published by sending it to Mercedes Lackey to see if she would like it.

You asked for it. :) I'm on a sugar high right now, so:
Why do you say that flames must include the number 104,711? I mean, 'he who is wisest says least', so you would think that you would have fewer requirements. Also, you forgot to include a reference to NASA, in which case I could feasibly mention Sally Ride. This is definitely not the type of story that Marie Antoinette would figure in, although it is the sort of story that one thinks of while skipping through a meadow singing about bunnies. Holy Guacamole! "Fluffy's Master Plan for World Domination"? What is that? Is it the tune that this piece is set to? And why should I mention strapping a sword to my back when I sit? I don't have a sword with me- I'm currently in a hotel in Florida- not the sort of place you bring swords. Dude, where are your potatoes? French fries would have made an interesting addition to this story. And you know what? This does make sense, considering that I'm a psychotic jetsetter! Hahaha... you need to be more creative with flame requirements.

*stares at computer screen wide-eyed* You actually believe you're going to receive a flame, much less flames in plural, for this beautiful piece of art you have produced?
It's a very beautiful portrayal of Sunsinger and Shadowdancer, and I had just finished reading Sun and Shadow in Arrow's Fall before reading this, so it really fit the mood!
Yup, this is going into my favorites as my first from Mercedes Lackey fanfiction!
Love it,
Akira

Well, it's nice to see you got something up even with all those evil HTML demons running amuck. Just wanted to say that I truely enjoyed your take on the Sunsinger and Shodowdancer song. It was really very good. :)
