I loved that poem... it really sounded like something Legolas would write. Great word choice and usage (not that I would know much about that kinda thing) but I really enjoyed it... in a kind of heart-throbbing, sad way.

This is beautiful. I really liked how you expressed that though Legolas is "no stranger to leave-taking" Gandalf's death affected him deeply. And I also liked how you conveyed his sadness, that though we may not see it, he is hurting. I especially liked the fifth verse, I've never thought of crying as a "blessed release" but on further thought, I realised that it is. Keep writing :)
