This was a confusing story. I liked the beginning, before the other characters came out of Aimry’s head – the things that happened were funny and believable. Then things just got confusing. I didn’t really understand the other characters, probably because I have only played a little Everquest and WoW, and never read The Mirror. I bet you found this story fun to write, but I think there are too many in-jokes and references to things you have read for most people to understand it. And I didn’t understand the ending at all – the story just ends. Is Aimry still in a coma in the real world? And I think bringing Aimry to the “gay Snape” world and the canon-ish world made the story needlessly complicated and hard to keep track of. It all comes back to those events being things that I’m sure you have great fun thinking of – and I can imagine how fun it might have been to write about those – but that other people need more explanation, structuring, and story to understand and thus like.

This story was was Awesome with a capital A! It was sort of like reading Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, but in Harry Potter. My only actual criticism is the use of what read sort of like a passive voice. Other than that, it was made of epic and win.

Hey ... are you from ... Maine? I hardly ever meet people from Maine, so when these Massachussetteans (or however many double letters there are in that state) ask where I'm from, I can only give a vague, sort of Northern gesture. Any more specific and they start to look confused ... Well, you've replied to all of my reviews ... that's kind of surprising. Anyways ... you have, by far, the CREEPIEST dementors I have ever read. Heh, you put in the Highlander theme! Yes! That movie is so bad, it's good. Why Can't We Be Friends is by Smash Mouth, but I bet someone has told you that already. That goat is pretty cool. Useful too ... I think.

This is really quite amusing. I love the crazy dream bits at the beginning- sticking out one's tongue to blow up a baloon and comments about switching bodies and such. I LOVE Fickle Narcolapsy the Red Goat. That is the best name I have ever heard. Ever. I'm no gamer, but the combined realities are pretty cool:) Now I want to read too much fan fiction and dream about Snape... Not that I don't already;)...

there was however no dragon's breath, which i was looking forward to from out conversation last night. Oh well, shikataganai and all that. Nice chapter, I didnt understand some of it in the Aimry/snape part because my computer would not load chapter 27 and I had to skip ahead.

Holy crap, I haven't read this story in so long! You've added more chapters since then! :D Poor Snape. I really do feel that the 'cannon' Snape probably reacted similarly to your Snape after killing Dumbledore. HE'S TOTALLY NOT EVIL I TELL YOU! *cough* erm... yeah, so anyway... aweosome story, update soon. (Preferably sometime after I finish reading Deathly Hallows) Ciao.

In a A/N I recall reading that someone saw this as a Mary-Sue. Well, I think it's borderline but not quite. Your character ends up confused, hurt, disliked, or in trouble far too often to be perfect, and therefore is still likeable to the reader. Well, this reader at least. I'm not sure if that's just because I like the personality she's based off, because you're a good writer, or for some reason I'm too dumb to figure out.
The canon-jumping is fun, very interesting, but a bit confusing. It became less so after I remembered reading the Mirror of Maybe. I might suggest providing a way for readers to find the story you're referring to, especially since that's a *good* fanfic.
Thanks for writing, and if my memory isn't complete trash, I might drop by here again! The writing deserves it...
