Oh my goodness. If only it weren't after midnight, and I had the strength to write a review worthy of this story.

I'll just say that it's beautiful. I've been a fan of your work since the first one-shot, and I'm surprised to continually unearth more gems of yours. Your characterization is spot-on - I found myself unconsciously working this into series canon. Really, just fabulous. In addition to brilliant characterization, your writing is - dare I say it - perfect. Just enough description, just the right sophistication of vocabulary, just enough personality in the dialogue to make it plausible. Utterly fabulous.

Thank you for providing me with a lovely little something to end my evening with.

This was most certainly interesting. You did a wonderful job on the characters. An interesting fanfic indeed.

This was brilliant. As a fellow fan of the Student Council members, I found this to be enthrallingly told. Even little Tsuwabuki got his mention and the consequences of not being able to play his part were shown. I thought some of the more brilliant parts were the depiction of Kozue as a wild animal in truth - a predator to the bone. She clashes strongly with both Miki's well-intentioned innocence and Nanami's carefully-built facade of elegance and subtlety and comes out the victor both times.
The talk between Shiori and Juri as they went to the beef bowl restaurant was wonderful - it's difficult for me to like Shiori in the series, but you've rounded her out and made her a much more understandable character. And Juri saying that she wished she had the strength to let herself go and express her feelings honestly was a marvelous point - it's a statement which is the essence of Juri.
The three-way talk between Saionji, Touga and the now-ragged Nanami was especially interesting because of the way that old friends react - one moment in bursts of rage, the next laughing over things even they can't explain. Childhood bonds never quite fade, no matter what happens later.
This story is absolutely brilliant, and I love it - all the more so because the Student Council just don't get enough love and attention most of the time.

Hey, Alan. Decided to give it another read-through...man, I love Miki and Nanami. ;) It's been a while; I'd forgotten a lot of the last conversation between Nanami and Touga. It was very well done, very honest. This fic has been one of those which really helped me to understand Nanami a little better, something which I've appreciated.

Out of any Utena fanficsI have ever read, I must say that this my favourite. This is actually the third time I have read this story (the other two times I read it on the Utena fanfic repository). There is such an in-depth understanding of the characters demonstrated, and for some reason this story just really stayed with me. I know I have read a truly great piece of fanfiction when I sit back and wish that it had actually happened in the original version.
