I must say I'm very impressed. This was very well written, very intelligently written as well. However, using the "you" point of view was rather confusing. It would have been easier to use third-person limited (changing it for each chapter) or first person (again, changing for each chapter). Still, good job!

This is really great! I love the West Wing, especially crossovers. :) You did a wonderful job with all the characters.

OMG! That's pure genius! It's times like these I wish i'd thought of the idea first. I'm a big fan of the WW and X-Men so this is brilliant! Good on you! Give yourself a pat on the back!

Hi,
I’ve started a new yahoo group called ‘WW crossovers’.
It’s a group for West Wing crossovers, so I’m looking for people to write crossover fics.
I was hoping that you would put your crossover fic in the group or if you would give permission so that i may post it there. Thanks :)
So if you have any crossover fics, any kind (tv, movie, book etc with WW) plz post it to the address below. Or if you can recommend good fics to me so that I can beg the authors…
All ships welcome.

This was quite good. I don't know if you added the POV prompts after the other reviews, but it helped immensely. Somehow, CJ's first POV didn't ring true (or perhaps I wasn't used to it yet), but I had little trouble with the rest. I especially enjoyed Charlie's POV. Well done!

Ah well, if it's for the kitten's sake ;-)
Just wanted to tell you how much I've loved this story. I'd love to see it continued.

Okay, first let me say that I adore this idea. I'm an X-Men fan, I'm a West Wing fan and anyone that can combine the two effectively gets great big kudos in my book. And thus far, the story seems a cohesive blend of both, so, yes, many kudos and props.
One big problem. The second-person narration. It's a cool idea but exceedingly difficult to do and here it doesn't quite work. The shift in viewpoint becomes a major detriment to the story simply because it takes a good portion of each chapter to figure out who each person is supposed to be. It doesn't add much to the story but it does feel like it's taking something away from what otherwise looks like a really great fic. Perhaps you might think about writing in third person instead? The spirit of the piece should emerge unscathed but it'll make your readers' jobs a little easier.
Otherwise, keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing the final result.

Nice! :) It's a cool idea (have to admit, all through the Oval Office scene in X2 I was glaring at the President and whispering furiously at my friend, "It's an imposter!"), I'll be looking out for new installments. ^_^ Write more!

Interesting story. I don't really watch the West Wing, but it's interesting to see how the events in X-men 2 would have happened with a guy like Bartlett as president...
If you need a high profile mutant you could try Warren Worthington. He wasn't in the movie, but in the comics he's a winged mutant, highly attractive who was the owner of a multi million dollar coporation. He was also out about his mutation. (he didn't like hiding his wings ;-) )
He could definitely stand as a positive example of a mutant.

The only thing I don't like about the story is that the author keeps on throwing in "you" instead of a random character name - without directly saying who "you" is.
