I enjoyed the story very much! Thank you for sharing, and for taking such great care in writing "long and involved sentences laden with fancy words."

Very original idea, and the tone on Watson's story seemed very authentic. Great job, and keep writing!

This is very well written. You have managed to capture the style of the original mysteries as well.

Wow. I am very amused by this. I'm not surprised that Methos met the great Detective Duo, and set their perception of the world on its ear. Nicely done. You have Watson's voice down pat.
Keep writing!

I enjoyed this in my first reading and much more in this second, done now that the Holmes movie has been released.
Very intriguing and I can imagine Methos having much fun with such avid minds as friends

Very, very, very cool story! I love the idea of Sherlock Holmes being real, and Methos having met him. Your point about immortality being the worst form of torture for Holmes is definitely well made, but I'm glad he at least got to show off his deductive reasoning to one. Great job on both those deductions and the style of writing; I think you managed to follow Doyle's style really well. All around wonderful story. Keep up the great work!

Very nice crossover. You really captured Watson's writing style.
The only thing I don't really believe is that Methos would tell Holmes & Watson his age.

Wow, what a fantastic story! You kept everyone in character, and the style of writing was very compatable with Doyle's. Thanks for a great fic!

I must applaud you on this excellent story! You have captured the true personas of Holmes, Watson, and Methos well. I am a fan of Sherlock Holmes as well as 'Highlander', and I was glad to see that someone had written a crossover of the two. Again, thank you for this wonderful story. Keep writing!

This is an excellent short story. Quite amusing (especially the ending) and suspensful.
I think you did Mr. Holmes a great justice, actually. In a sense, he is immortal. :)
Spelling and punctuation were wonderful; in my first reading I had not seen a mistake spelling- or grammar-wise (Brownie points!).
The plot was original; it was something that I haven't considered before. Brownie points for that!
Personally, I felt that it's a good tribute to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. Well done.

You evil creature you! I had not noticed this story! Not at all! I am so ashamed of myself!
Never set pen to paper? I rarely if ever actually write my stuff on paper. Then again, I haven't been writing a lot lately.
Ahem... nothing much is happening indeed. My Muses have quite abandoned me, and I'm stuck in dull tedium. *sigh*
I still write, but it's not good stuff, and most of it is really not worthy of publishing, although I have published a poem or two at Fiction Press since.
Anyway, lovely story, and quite the enjoyable read. I'm just smarting because I never noticed it. Ooh! My ego stings!
