Despite some inaccuracies (e.g. Maki is the surname), a very nice fic which I regret not having discovered earlier. Maybe it would have been better to chapterize it and make it more slow-paced, and also to focus on the humorous parts of Izumi's personality, but that's just me. Good job!

OK, first the nitpicking. She's usually referred to as "Izumi", not "Maki". The spelling is "Aestivalis". And why the English wedding ritual at the end? Apart from that, a good, poignant story with lots of nice dramatic touches. Izumi has always been one of my favourite characters. Maybe I felt the emphasis on romance was a bit soppy, but that's just me.
