The Hulk fought Superman once(while their worlds were merging) they fought in the desert(so no one was in danger). Ironically it was Banner Hulk so he held back, but Superman didn't, allowing Superman to win their match.
Also in the comics the captions about Green Hulk have said he doesn't gets tired, the madder he gets the stronger he gets so if he's fighting Superman he's not going to slow down until Superman's knocked out. After which I'm guessing The Hulk would pass out too from over exertion.
Other then that it was a great story very dramatic the too ultimate powerhouses slugging it out and well worth reading.

i really like your story bro. i'm a big hulk fan and from what i've been able to find from the old comic crossover, they put superman at a higher level then the hulk. i'm glad someone else thinks hulks strong enough to go punch for punch with the man of steel ;) lookin forward to part 2

Well there have already been 3 crossovers. Superman and Spider-Man #2 guest stared the Hulk. The book was done by Marvel with DC's approval, and Superman proved to be undeniably stronger, even to the guys at Marvel, wearing the Hulk out by letting him punch away not feeling a thing(the same strategy he used on Spider-Man in Superman vs Spider-Man) and destroying a sonic pulsating nanobot that was agrivating the Hulk(and making him get stronger from the anger) and wining the Hulk's trust after Hulk announced he was tired.
Later another fight with a smarter Hulk though at a similar strength level and post-crisis Superman proved to put the two on even footing, both had the wind knocked out of them but neither ended up being able to hurt the other. The fight was interupted and a clear winner was never announced.
And of course there was a fight in Marvel vs DC but that was fan voted so credibility varies depending on who you ask. But from what I understand it was a weaker Hulk and a weaker Superman(I haven't read this one so I couldn't say). But I think Superman recieved three times as many votes and won.
Anyways on to the fic itself. As with any given crossover, the winner will always be decided by the writer. SO a tie to make sure no one whines that their character shouldn't've lost was a smart way to go(despite my personal feeling that Superman should always win because he's much closer to being the good guy and can just do more stuff than Hulk can). It seemed in tune with Superman's universe and The Hulk's. There were a few mistakes though, for example, it's LexCorp not Luthor Corp, but these were easily forgivable. And the story was well written in it's entirity, albeit short.
When rating, I use a real number system. You start at five which is "decent" and go up or down accordingly. It was great but it could've been a lot better. That being said, 5 is decent, not 7 as it's often lead to believe so. And with that I give you sir 8/10. You're a great writer, not a perfect one mind you but a great one.

Good story. Can't help but think that Hulk would have won in that situation though. In addition to getting stronger, he also heals faster and gets tougher as he gets madder. Superman would have had to seriously work his speed to get the advantage.

Watch the grammar - you also shift from present to past tense. Watch that. And the comma splices.
The last 2 paragraphs need work. They don't flow as well as the rest of the story, kinda like you lost steam. Revise. The Matrix analogy doesn't work, either. Just name it "slow motion" or something.
In all, a good fic. Now that Superman knows Bruce is a human...continue. Watch the dialogue. Good fic!
