This is a second time that I've read your story. The first time I've read this story was one year ago. You are a very good writer. This is an adventure, drama & mystery - really fun to read. Thank you sharing a beautiful, very long and well written story which I'm sure I'll be reading it again.
PS: I can not post this review on the last chapter as the system would not allow duplicate review, so I post it on chapter 41 instead.

Wow! This story is delicious, a rare jewel, a favorite after only 12 out of 42 chapters. I'm hanging on every word.

Gondolier, thank you so much for this unforgettable tale. Fraternité belongs in the pantheon of Phantom literature for many reasons. I found it suspenseful and rich in well-researched details. Your character development was superb and dovetailed well with the E/C whom we know and love through ALW's play and movie and Leroux' book. At times I wanted to shake Erik for his pig-headed insistence on distancing himself from Christine, but that's Erik, what can we say. I was so glad when he finally permitted himself and his devoted lady the happiness they were so obviously meant to have.
I appreciate the fact that all your works on are complete, one mark of a true professional. This phan will gladly read any new work of yours, at any time.
Don't deny us your talents. Please write more, more, more. I understand that you have no plans for another book featuring the Fraternité suite of characters, but one or several vignettes / one-shots would be so welcome!
Best wishes always.

WOW. What an epic continuation of the story weaving so much...WOW. I am truly impressed. I hate the stories that make Raoul out to be a horrible person, etc. and so this story was incredibly refreshing (I've just begun my descent into Phanphic). The characters seemed incredibly real and so fully developed; I couldn't tear myself away.

I have been reading your story on and off again for the past 6 months. This is definitely in my top 5 favorite Phantom stories! You stayed true to the characters, the details and descriptions were so well done, I could see everything you described and more, and the plot of the story was so well built, thought out, and had great depth, emotion, mystery, romance, and character. I am so thankful that I was able to read a great masterpiece of fan fiction. This is what true fan fiction is supposed to be for the Phans. I hope to read more of your work and I will definitely recommend your story to people. You have a gift for writing; cherish it, hone it, and use it so that someday, all of the world can read a book written by you. Thank you for this story, thank you for taking all of the readers on this great journey, and thank you for putting so much detail and time and work into the magnificent story! You are such a great person. Good luck to you with all your dreams and endeavors and now I will browse through the rest of your writings and suggestions. Thank you so much! )

What can I say, your story of Eric & Christine has left me utterly breathless and speechless as well. I was incredibly moved by your storytelling and felt every emotion that was experienced by all of your beautiful characters that you so painstakingly wrote to life. I loved every word of it and savoured every beautiful moment between Eric & Christine. I enjoyed the journey. I have nothing but praise for your work and I really hope that you will come back to review your work again to fixed up some of your typos. You are so incredibly talented!

This story was phenomenal. Thank you so much for writing this. There were so many things I loved about your tale that it's hard to remember all of them.
I adore that you didn't sidestep Erik's background as a murderer. He did murder people and Christine was horrified by it. Christine and Erik really can't get together until that impediment was dealt with. I love how you had Christine be the one who helped to save Erik and how he redeemed himself in Jerusalem. ;-) Wonderful Symbolism in there...
I also loved the way Christine managed to get him to marry her. He thought he was forcing her into it and all along, she was just manipulating him into doing what he had always wanted and what she had wanted. It was also in keeping with Erik's darker side. He always liked to force Christine into things. Little did he know that she really didn't have to be forced in this regard. Oh and the imagery of Erik holding Christine as if she was a prisoner and grinning madly at the priest and telling the priest that he was to preform the wedding ceremony. Wow! Bravo! I could easily see the scene in my mind.
I have also been to Jerusalem. My family went July-August of 2011. I have been to the Ecco ** convent, been inside of the church of the Flagellation and even took a trip down to the cistern you mentioned that Erik was residing in. (We went down in the cistern since it was so hot outside in August and the cistern was so cool.) As I read it, I was pleased with your active imagination. I had seen the archeological work where they were trying to dig out 'old Jerusalem,' which was under the current city. What perfect place for the Phantom to hide! I saw old ruins, and you had an underground lair for our favorite villain/hero.
Thank you so much for writing this. :-)

I spent my entire Saturday reading this; it was wonderful. Great characterizations, great plot, intrigue, it had everything. Including a happy ending (for those who look for reassurance in reviews before reading).

I am completely speechless. This is easily the best phanphiction I have ever read. I daresay it's good enough to be published. You are an incredibly gifted writer, and you should do this for a living. This story contains everything that a good novel should contain. In fact, I haven't been so completely immersed in a book for quite some time. I was literally unable to stop reading this as I kept wondering what would happen next. I even cried when I read the last part of chapter 41. Furthermore, the plot is simply outstanding and so very different from what I usually see. Also, the way Christine changes throughout the story is a brilliant addition. Personally, I always believed that Christine should change so that she can help Erik. There is much more to commend, but I sadly lack the required time to post a complete review. I must mention one more thing though: your descriptions, especially of the characters' surroundings, are amazing. The part of the story set in Jerusalem contains some of the best of these descriptions. Again, you are a most talented writer. Bravo!

It is good to see Nadir be firm with Erik. You wonder as you read their story just how much he can take.
There is an underlying sadness in this chapter that you weave in beautifully and I am happy that Erik has come to his sense with relative haste,

This is a brilliant chapter, perhaps the best of the story because it feels real even though it is far fetched. The action, the pain and the conversations are all very true.
And Papi's death has just nearly broken my heart. She was brave in the end and Nadir is once again alone. So sad.

Great chapter and a good cliffhanger. Moves us along slightly and you get the feeling that things are beginning to draw to a close.

Beautifully done twist and a most enjoyable chapter. I liked the humour at the beginning and Erik's realisation. I'm also very much liking Christine's new found spine, it's refreshing.
I think you do well with Jean Paul but you do make him a little... difficult to like. I appreciate he is only a child but not all children cry constantly.
A great ending to an intriguing chapter.
