I know this story was written a long time ago, but it doesn't hurt to be polite, right?
So I just wanna say that I love this story! I think it's great, and this may just be the inside of Emily Gilmore's mind... :)

That is so sweet. I think you have really captured the essence of the true person behind the cold hard shell of Emily Gilmore. From the beginning I have sensed that there was a heart of gold beneath that tough exterior, and the episode of Gilmore Girls that really touched my heart, was the episode where Rory and Lorelai have a fight soon after Rory breaks up with Dean, and Lorelai gets back together with Max. Anyway, Rory gets into an argument/fight with Lorelai, and runs away, taking a cab to her grandparents house. The way that both Emily and Richard take Rory under their wing really touched me and it was then I realized that there had to be a reason for Emily's tough and cold exterior, and despite her faults and the problems with Lorelai, deep down, Emily Gilmore has a heart of gold.
