I'm re-reading this story again and I have to say that I enjoy it more every time I read it. I wish that this had actually happened in canon. This is one of the best Star Wars that I have read on the site. Wonderful writing!

I absolutely love this story. I read it for the first time a couple of years ago and then read it all again yesterday - in one day actually, so I pretty much did nothing else than reading.
This is not only the best Star Wars fanfiction I've ever read, but probably one of my favorite strories at all. I love how you made the entire relationship between Sabé and Obi-Wan fit perfectly into the "true" storyline - well, the last few chapters seemed a bit rushed to me, however I got the perfect happy ending I was hoping for.
I always thought that with your portrayal of the two relationships you showed how the Padmé/Anakin thing should've happened - that there is not only the way it was shown in the movies, but that there is actually a way a jedi can love without turning to the dark side.
I would very much love to see you writing another Sabewan story - but quite honestly, I don't think you could do better than this one, as it is perfect in my eyes.

Can I just say that i think this story of yours is absolutly amazing! How you made the story work (including the part with Leia remembering Padme, loved that)...I've been doing my own version of this pairing in my head and I've found it containing some plots that you have...had in certain chapters( and if i ever write my story I do not mean to copy your work at all...) I would love to see if you make a new story for Sobiwan eventually(other than what you have right now) !

You're gonna hate me for this, but I suppose that's rather inevitable with the review I'm about to give... Oh kay, here I go...
It was great, and a really fun ride... Up until Chapter 58. They I just felt like the story fell apart. Sorry.
This is going to be brutal, but I want to give my honest opinon. Reading this story, start to end was like watching you build Coruscant quite literaly from the ground up. And then when you hit 58 it was like you placed detpacks on the foundations of the thousands stories tall buildings you created, and watched them grind themselves to dust as they fell a few thousand stories, obliterating everything on the way down.
I know, that's really harsh, but I really do feel like style decreased in skill, and the quality of story-telling, especially the amount of emphasis you put on the Force ghosts, was considerably lessened, and to be brutally honest... somewhat childish.
I'm not banging on the Supernatual because I don't believe in it or something and it offends me, cuz' I do. It's just that I felt I was reading a very badly written book for children for the last 7 chapters.
I know that's harsh, crual, mean, brutal, and downright discouraging of me to say. But if it hasn't been already said, it really needed to be.
On that note, I loved everything before that. I was serious when I said it was like watching you build Coruscant from the ground up. This story (barring the ending, sorry) truely is a glittering jewel among stories.

I know this is what? five? years late, but i loved this so much. Would have reviewed each chapter, but I couldn't stop reading! This really was amazing, i love how Obi-Wan and Sabe are Mara Jade's parents. :) It was so fun to watch them fall in love, and it was completely realistic. you're an amazing writer!

Whew, took me three days but I finally finished this wonderfully, amazing story! I must say that this one is officially one of my favorites in the Star Wars section, perhaps even the entire site. I loved the way you portrayed Sabe and Obi-Wan, great characterization on your part. You kept them very much in character, at least on Obi's part anyway. I can't really say that about Sabe, since I know so little about her actual character in the saga. But the way you wrote her was superb! Somehow, that scene with the headdress question sounds like something that could have been an outtake from Episode I. lol ^_^ I like what you've done so far, and can't wait to continue reading. I've really gotten onto a handmaiden/Obi-Wan kick for some reason. I blame the release of the special edition Blu-Ray Star Wars pack.
