I cannot believe the skill with which you weaved such imagery, romance, forlorn, and fate together. You've proven with expert timing that Poe can be brought back to life. The poem's style is a stand out, my deepest Congratulations to an amazing authoress. Never did I think Erik's passion for Christine could be captured within a few stanzas of rhythm and rhyme, but Madame you have proved me wrong in every way. I sincerely hope you keep up your craft. You are a true inspiration to us all.

I'm not much one for poetry (I have little-to-no attention span, or interest) and usually avoid it on principle. However The Nacken's Song was recommended to me and I have to say I really, really liked it. I enjoyed the rhythmn and imagery you used, the adroit combination of both made it pleasurable to read. I liked the dark undertones imbued with an essence of Poe. I can't really remark on the mechanics of the poem because I don't know the first thing about poetry, but I can say that I don't mind poetry as much now - all thanks to you. Cheers for sharing this, its a magnificent piece of work.

I have no words. Physically and mentally speechless at the moment actually. Maybe once I can pick my jaw up from the floor I will be able to write a better review, but for now, this is all I have.

THAT WAS EPIC! Wow, you should be a poet!
Reminds me of a mix of (morbid lulz :P) Ogden Nash and the guy who wrote Alice in Wonderland.
Kya! ^^

I'm actually very impressed here. I rarely like poetry, but this was extremely well done.

That was, to put it simply, absolutely breath-taking! What are you doing writing fan fiction? You could be a best-selling poet! Your style is vaguely reminicent of Edgar Allen Poe, only so much better than that! His poems creep me out, personally, but this was unbelieveable. Adding to my favorites now...

Let's just say that I hate poetry and that I LOVED this piece. I have a great deal of respect for anyone who can write a good poem and I especially loved the "chorus" when it spoke of the northern myths. *Click* Favorited

Please don't take this the wrong way if you happen to not be a fan- but I think that your beautiful poem is reminiscent of the work of Edgar Allen Poe; both in style and in quality. I love his poetry, and yours has that same softly dark quality that I so admire in his work. This is, without a doubt, one of the best pieces of fanfiction that I have ever read! I am in awe of your talent. There is just no way to tell you how wonderful this poem is. It's...perfection. Brava!
