Nice chapter, I love the description and the way you wrote her mom, and Belinda is quickly growing on me, I like her. I could do with some detail on her relationship with her sister though, as Glinda's kind of the original material she ought to be included. Also, what time frame is this in? You might want to go into that, for instance has Elphaba melted yet and is Glinda in charge of Oz, or not melted but Glinda's graduated and working for the Wizard or is Glinda still at school and she's gonna show Belinda the ropes? I just think you need to flesh this type of thing out a bit. I love it the, and the "toss,toss" of her hair, that's good stuff. Awesome, keep going!

huh this could be good...
I've never rally thought about who the Witch of the North was...
but wasn't Glinda the Witch of the North?
I was just thinking of Nessa to Munchinkinland (east) and Elphaba to the Vinkus or more or les Kiamo Ko (west) and Glinda would be Witch of the North because she is from the Gilikin...
so that would mean none to the south...
I could be very wrong on this and I apologize if I am...but I'm just wonderin'...
hope I didn't offend or anything...

So wait is Belinda Galinda's sister? Or someone else entirely? I like it so far, especially as a start, but you could make the next chapter a little longer, and go into a bit more detail. I liked how you covered the dream though, nice job, keep going with this!
