I so love this little tale! I know there is one sequel, but can't you make more? Pretty please? I love how you describe Aragorn, and his healing side, especially on these series, and that old badger is just priceless ;-)

This story is quite an overlooked gem! I really like the introduction and development of Kenuric's character and the gradual unfolding of his story. Emotional, without being overdone. I think i'll go read the sequel now. :)

Ah, how sweet. I love it. A quirky little story that you never really think about. Maybe it's just me, but I like this story the most because it brings Estel's father into it. And not just some crime his father commited or some enemy out there that hates his father, but an actual person who was his father's friend, his best friend, and was actually deeply affected by Estel's return to the rangers. I loved it. Another side to the many-sided story. Great job.

"Come within, Lord – blast it, which are you?"
Funniest part in the whole story! : )

I thought Shakespeare had some hand in the naming of your works. It's nice to see I was correct, for once. : )
Great story. Poor Kenuric. : (

The alert has been in my inbox for way too long, but im so glad i finally had the time to read! You are one hell of a writer. Your OC was wonderful, I certainly didn't expect that! I especially like the way it was compared to Aragorn and Legolas's friendship, and the way Kenuric became a mentor in the end. Brilliant, good job!

Brilliant! Sorry its taken me so long to get to the second half, but I'm very glad I took the time to do so. I agree with the twins; the taming of the badger was certainly the mightiest deed. Fave bits were the talk between Trallen and Estel (the way the friendship between legolas and Estel was compared to the friendship of Arathorn and Kenuric really brought home the latters pain at his friend's death), and the subsequent talk between Estel and Kenuric himself, with the wonderful Estel managing to break down the barriers and sympathise in a way only he can (remembering back to Enchain and his understanding of Valendil here!)
But my favourite part of this, as always with your writing, is the family interaction. My fave line had to be "Elladan broke in, his voice warm and fond, "You have always seen the truth within, even as a child. It is part of your gifts." In a strange way that line in particular touched me.
Well done on another lovely fic, I look forward to your next long one!
V :)
PS: I've just started a psychology degree at my local uni, so I know how annoying it is when you want to write but education demands you do your work instead (I'm determined to post my last chapter of my hobbit story by christmas though! Just hope my uni doesn't try and disagree :s)

Once again-great job!
I really enjoyed this story..and I don't always enjoy tales focusing on OC's.
Poor Kenuric..you could understand his pain, and how seeing Aragorn, so unlike yet, so different, would cause the healer great pain and as another reviewer said it made it all the more understandable when you related the pain to Aragorn's relationship with Legolas.
Good Job!

Poor Kenuric, to be reminded of his dead friend, whenever he saw Aragorn. Loved how Aragorn took the rangers in hand to give them better training. Great story, really enjoyed reading it.
