I too thought your story was very cute. It showed how Nathan isn't always the stoic, nonsentimental type. "Pumpkin Eater", that's so clever, I never would have thought to use the nursery rhyme for a nickname. I loved the story all the way around. As I was reading I could vividly see Peter stuck in that tree and Nathan turning to go back to the house. Very descriptive. I'd like to read more of your fanfics.
