definitely interested in more. The language in this chapter flowed a bit more freely, and it really impacted my enjoyment positively.

I like it, but the language is overly flowery. I can get the gist of it, but it's coming out muddled.

That said, I think Imoen having a hamster called Minsc is sweet, awesome, and totally in character.

A romance with Imoen? Eww, how disgusting. What next, a PC-Gorion romance?

actually i don't believe it to be incest because one they were never said to have the same mortal father and mother, or even share one or the other, and if mystra is any example bhaal may have possesed the male (or female) parent in that case they only share his essence, even if he didn't gods are static, so they aren't really related, and incest is a term applied to humans made of flesh and blood, and in mythology there are many cases of incest, could it be possible there is a reason for that, origionally i believe that incest came from the fear of creation of a child from it and bottlenecking (though not termed that) do gods share that problem?

I am very interested in this pairing, which was to be my first choice when I originally found out about romances (before I knew they were siblings). I also tend to agree with you that they would technically not be incompatible genetically, although I imagine that after spending so much time playing brother and sister they would have a tough time becoming romantically involved. As for the particular story, I like your style of writing, both serious and lighthearted, sometimes nearly both in one sentence. Also, I like how you made Felden a blend of the coolest attributes (spells with animal companions and twin swords). I would love to see this fic develop with a happy ending, but I suppose that's your call. I really like the long chapters, but please update soon!

You have a great writing style! Your choice in scenes is magnificent - the battlements for example. It's all very good apart from the name of the horse.

This is a great story, very well thought out and I must admit I never saw any type of relationship between the PC and Imoen - though I would've preferred that over the romances that the game offered. I think you're right on target with the 'setting' up of the two as to not make it seem so stereotypical of other romance stories. Keep up the good work.

A very touching story. Myself I could never dump Imoen from parties, she was just too fun. As has been said, it feels more like brotherly and sisterly love, though how often are you embracing your siblings? It's also refreshing to see it tackle fresh locations and times, I look forward to further installments.

Thanks for all the critique, people. I am working on Chapter 3 right now, but real life is getting busier and I have not found time to finish it (it's half done).

Anyway, a comment on the brother-sister relationship between Imoen and Felden. That's the way I imagine they will relate to each other. After all, they were brought up as such. To find out later they actually share the same heritage would probably just reinforce that relationship.

However, they are clearly two different persons and their common heritage has now faded. The challenge for the writer is to develop the relationship into something more than brotherly-sisterly love.

To just throw them together and make the fall in love romantically to me is just unrealistic and not believable at all. So I have decided to put in a background story (which is hinted at in the Chapter 2) as a "stage", and then put them on the stage. Imoen and Felden are still introducing themselves to me, and I hope they will surprise me as I put them through life.

Thanks again for reading.

I like this and very original. But I don't see any romantic relationship. Its like brotherly and sisterly love. You should continue writing this. I really wanna know what happens.

Finally! A BG2 romance story with none of those wimp girls!

I like the way you started the story up to chapter 2. Keep writing.

I have made myself a true believer in Hero+Imoen relationships.

HO!

The way I see Bhaal spawn is this. It says in the first game that he had childern of all races. So the hero Imoen, Serevolk all have elf brothers and the such. Thats why if your a half-elf it says your mother was a half-elf. My theroy is that when a god has a child with a mortal the child will be the same race as the mother.

It was good, but I didn't find any romance in it. I just found a relationship between a brother and a sister.

Cool. You obviously gave this a lot of thought and I'm interested to see if there will be a conclusion.

I liked that. You could very easily leave it at that if you can't write anymore but if you find that you can write more, it would be great.
