Wow. Just . . . amazing. I have been reading this fanfiction for the past few weeks. I didn't want to bombard you with 38 reviews so let me just say . . . This is one of the best fanfictions that I have ever read on this website. When I first saw it, I was skeptical. First of all, I was a bit skeptical about an Animaniacs story. I used to always watch the Animaniacs as a child. Now that I'm in college, not much has changed. But I never really thought about writing a fanfiction about them. I started reading the first chapter of Family and immediately fell in love. (WARNING: SPOILERS). It was amazing to see Yakko, Wakko, and Dot grow up. I don't know where to begin . . .
From seeing Yakko trying to protect Wakko and Dot from his parents and then his father having the audacity to teach Yakko and Wakko how to pickpocket. And then Goose . . . Oh immediately loved Goose and later on I cried when Yakko received her letter and sobbed when Bugs had to tell Yakko what happened. And Bugs. Much like watching the Animaniacs, I have also grown up on the old Looney Tunes. And the fact that Bugs used to be Yakko's hero and he became so much more . . . his mentor and his hero and his friend and his da-doo and the fact that Bugs was always there. I cringed when the fight occurred between the two of them and I wish that Yakko would have handled that differently but it was written to perfection. I read the 'accident' scene at 2:00 in the morning when trying to finish up my end-of-the-semester paper. I wanted to read a few chapters to get my mind off of it and then I read THAT and needless to say I didn't get to sleep that night. I literally stayed up reading to make sure that they were going to be alright. But everything that happened before that . . .
TIS finally capturing them and them having to stay in the home. It was obvious that the experience caused Wakko to grow up and help Yakko care for Dot. Then they managed to get out but were homeless and it was extremely suspenseful to know that TIS was still searching for them. And then they stumbled onto the Warner Bros. lot and as soon as I read Plotz' name I knew who they were dealing with . . . None other than Spielberg himself. It was an amazing way to show how the series began. And you went into detail about the scripts of the episodes and how they felt about them. Then you have scenes like Yakko dating (I was mortified when I realized what he was doing in that back seat) or Wakko finding out that he has Diabetes which was handled beautifully. I loved how you incorporated Bugs of course but also Foghorn, Porky, Slappy, the Tiny Toons, Scratchy, Ralph, Lisa (Thank you for showing that she had a personality and wasn't just Hello Nurse!) Darkwing, and you even showed the competition between Warner Bros. and Disney.
And that was another amazing aspect. You clearly know what you're writing about. The hammerspace, chucking, toonspeed, Toon Theory, Toontown, etc. I remember you said that you were majoring in animation and I think that it's an amazing match for you. Every aspect of this fanfiction was accurate and I completely understand when you say that you don't need/want any suggestions. You have clearly spent a great amount of time devoting your research to this story. It shows. You are an amazing author and I hope that you are eventually able to update this or write a sequel. I can't wait to read 'Friends'. I feel as though I am gushing so I'm going to wrap it up by saying: Thank you for writing this. I will definitely not be forgetting this story anytime soon. I can never watch Animaniacs the same way again but . . . At first I thought that this was bad but I now realize that it's amazing. Because what was once a simple show now has an entirely new aspect. So thank you.

This is an amazing story. I understand that it is not updated frequently but I look forward to reading more whenever new chapters come out. This is undoubtedly one of the best Animaniacs stories I've found anywhere.

I've just finished reading this story and I have to say it is one of the most brilliant fanfics I've ever had the pleasure to read. I've never been terribly fond of fics from cartoons and I would never have even considered an Animaniacs fic before now simply because the world doesn't really seem to have enough background to make a well-rounded story. I have to admit that the only reason I started reading this is because I found it in another author's favorites and was impressed by the word count. I've seen fics where the author topped 200k words without any substance, but they are rare.
At any rate, Blending "Toon Town" background (I'm assuming from "Who Framed Roger Rabbit") into the Animaniacs story line is one of the most brilliant moves I've seen in a long while. In fact, your story blending was even more seamless than it was in Roger Rabbit. The prose flowed so perfectly that I often felt more as if I was watching the story, rather than reading it. You managed to make things seam so real that I half expected to be able to go to California and meet these characters.
You've managed to make my laugh, out loud, hysterically and made me cry real tears, often both within the same chapter. That is why I'm writing this review. I want to say thank you for this beautiful work. I also want to shamelessly beg you to write more. I've written a bit myself, none of it even remotely this good, but I do write, so I understand if your muse has left you or if you simply can't find the time. But just in case you stopped because you were feeling unappreciated or in case my words might inspire you, I'm going to ask anyway. I would really love to know what happened next.

Wow. This. is just. so... Wow. Incredible. Absolutely beautiful writing, the storyine is ingenious. Someone could read this, never seeing animaniacs, and love this fanfic. Truthfully, I have nothing bad to say about this! Please write more!

Much like many great things, this story has come a year-long halt. Let me tell you, this displeases me greatly. The wait. Always the wait. What am I to do in this time of wait? Get a life you say? NAAY! This story is too good to be utterly stopped! Good sir the show must go on!

A really emotional chapter, had me in tears. And with that slight father-son bond with Slacko and Yakko in the previous chapter(s) made me think that Slacko would have made a good Dad if all of those downfalls hadn't happened (same with Ophelia, she would have been a caring Mum).

Bit of a depressing start, but a great first chapter nonetheless. I did spot a tiny mistake (Their[should be "they're] not going to pass out on Daddy to are they?"), but other than that everything's written very well.
