And I'm really glad I'm not the only one who uses present tense to build drama. :)
Only criticism-and it isn't really a criticism-if you wanted to say "regret nothing" in French, it would be "Ne Regrette Pas." "I regret nothing" would be "Je regrette rien" or "Je ne regrette pas," but you can't use "rien" without a subject. Yeah. Okay. I'm done being a nerd.
Anyway, great job! Hope to see more from you soon.

OH WOW! That was great...seriously, I had tears in my eyes! Your description of Dean and Sam's relationship was just...wow! I have to fave parts...the last paragraph and this line: "But, then again, to him, Sam really is the world." I LOVE this fic!

Very sweet! Great job on your first fic. I love everything ,but especially this: "Dean's speeding up, pushing down on the accelerator, that awful AC/DC song blaring and the wind rushing by ruffles up Sam's brown hair, pulling it all over his face one second, and pushing it back the next. Dean starts to zig-zag across the highway and it's a good ten minutes before Sam's realizes that he's laughing hysterically, hands fisted in Dean's leather jacket, yelling," Dean, stop!"
Dean grins at him and doesn exactly the opposite."
I can totally see Dean doing this on the show. Keep up the good work!

Oh, this was just beautiful! Lovely use of memories and feelings to capture those precious moments in time that are even more meaingingful. I especially enjoyed the thought of Sam stamping his feet to Dean's music-such a brother thing!
