She's gonna have to toughen up if she's gonna hang with Demona. Anyway, I think this is a great story and I love the direction it seems to be headed in for all those involved. Thanks for the read.

I rather like this bit of work you've posted. It's a refreshing and highly engaging take on some of my favorite characters. Not to mention I have always liked Demona and for as long as I can remember just haven't pictured her as anything but a lesbian, mostly because the image of her with a woman is too damn sexy to ignore. Still, it makes for a good basis to build a story and is an easy way to get her attention off of Goliath.
I hope to see this story carry on for good long while.

I think that Demona is changing, and for the better. The fact that she is showing concern for the clan, after that attack, and the fact that she is helping Mazza out proves that. And ANYONE that messes with her is going to be in for TROUBLE!

This has been an enjoyable read. I look forward to seeing future updates. As noted, it is a bit formulaic, but formulas exist because they work, bad ideas don't make it to the formula stage. And the execution is quite good.
I feel like there's not enough of an antagonist to carry the story, though. With most of the old villains reformed, there doesn't seem to be any threat worthy of the Gargoyles anymore in this story, no feeling of menace or threat. The Pack and Sevarius making some weak mutates that are easily dealt with isn't enough.

I love Demona too, for me she was THE reason to watch the show! It gives me the shivers to think what she would feel like if *capable* of seeing what she had really caused; hers is a tragic destiny.
I will bookmark this story and read the rest of the chapters later.

Sigh...When Gargoyles fanfiction started up in 1994, I used to see these all the time. Demona always has a softer side that just needs the right person to reach it. Usually, the right person has some distinguishing characteristic that Demona can relate to, such as being alone, losing there family, or just being kicked around by life in general. Said person becomes the bridge that allows Demona to confront the horrible truths about herself. In the end, she either reforms or rejects her new would be ally. Its a great formula for a story that will take the reader on a long roller coaster ride. But it is still a formula. Hopefully this story has some surprises that distinguish it.

All I can say about this is, oops, probably shouldn't have threatened him once he admitted he was a PI. Just said, "oh…" and left. A PI of course would be interested by what interests a gargoyle.
