Just when it looks like a relationship is going to break, it can actually gets stronger. Bobby was right, they are different people but that does not mean that what they build from this point forward will not be stronger and even better. I am looking forward to see what they build in the future. Good story.

I like how you've left it; it seems realistic that they have talked it out so far and are working on the rest. Still think it might be a case of things getting worse before they get better between them. I do like how you write Bobby.

hi! i liked your description of their talk. i think it was honest and caring for both of them. and i'm glad they don't really want to break up. i think bobby should confide in alex about brady. if not, he's sort of making the same mistake again - trying to handle alone things he needs help with. and i wish they would both realize that it's ok not to be what they were; they can be even better - if they let each other help.

I'd say it's as good a place as any to end. Considering Depths was filmed before Amends or Smile, it's hard to tell where they will be by the next episode. Out of sequence airing of episodes drive me nuts! LOL

Thanks for giving us such a great post-ep. I think your "on the other hand" descriptions of Bobby are the best I've ever read. I've never seen him written so accurately. Bravo! I thought this was a great way to tie it up, and I guess we'll see Thursday if things have gotten any better. Thanks again.

I think it is good that Alex is geting a little taste of what Bobby has gone through with their partnership and his own insecurities. Experience is a good teacher and equalizer. Lewis was wonderful as the voice of reason here. He knows Bobby better than anyone and he seemed pretty confident that Bobby doesn't want this break up either, and that Alex should not give up on him. I like that Alex has regained her stubborn determination in the last chapter. Yeah, Alex, track him down and have that long overdue discussion. You will both feel better, and I will too.

i really hope they can save it. bobby's on the brink, and alex is the only one who can pull him back - even if she helped put him there. i like it when lewis gets involved with alex and bobby's relationship. in his own way, he's so close to both of them. he's a good middle man.
