Just read your first 10 story. I was wondering why Casey just didn't call the local cops when she found his car. They could have help big time. Their probably was a report about the fight Friday night and a John Doe emitted to hospital. They would have also notified Casey parents and local police about the find. That would have eased some of the problems for the family.

This is a really good story even though I've never seen an episode of Life With Derek in my life. A note on your hospital care thing; in Canda there's free healthcare so families arent obligated to play for suguries and treatment.

I realize that you are probably over this story completely, and you said yourself you are only finishing it to finish, but I absolutely love this. It's well written and thought out, and hopefully fixes that terrible book entirely -especially the ending as you promised. So, if you can find it in yourself, I ask that you finish up this story as you intended. I would really love to read the ending you had in mind.

This story is so good I hope you actually do update soon! But I don't get it, can she see him too? And i think Marti should throw a tantrum or something of all of them I think she and Casey would be more upset and being a little girl she should do something like that! Update ASAP :)
