It's true. I can see a part of her has and does blame him. But I'm not sure that's completely the underlining problem they're having right now. Maybe it's just me, but I can't help but feel that Bobby shoulders at least some of the blame of what's going with them, too. :) I do like this this look at her inner thoughts though. :)

i like this angle. seems like there has been much glossing over - "oh, you shouldn't feel guilty" - when bobby blames himself about the gages, but no one has even taken it that one step beyond to see how bobby felt victimized and betrayed. thanks to you, we see this starting to happen.

Interesting take on the episode. I am still not sure how to take her comment about Gage. There have been all kinds of discussion about it and I've looked at it from many different perspectives but tied in with the Smile comment, I'd say she's coming across as cruel towards Bobby but I'm not sure that is the intent.
Nice bit of introspection here. I hope it is what was going through her mind. *sigh* I want some sign that they're all right and I'm just not getting it.

I wish we could see what's going through her mind, and I would also like to think she's gradually working through whatever bug got up her butt so she can go back to being the partner she used to be, the partner he needs her to be. I liked this introspection, and I wish she really would take a hard look at herself and what she's doing. This was a nice look at what we hope she was thinking, but she has become unpredictable these days and that injects an uncertainty into the partnership that has never been there before.Good job!

Goren's behavior was odd enough to stop me in my tracks during that episode. It was certainly personal and very unprofessional. I thought it may have had something to do with Gage, and you did a very nice job of showing that. Alex's line about meeting Bobby's mentor was jarring also.

I just saw the ep. this morning, and her reference to Gage made it official. I am no longer angry at Eames. I am frickin' ***!* That woman is just being cruel to him lately. I really hope this was what was going through her mind. I too was shocked by Bobby's behavior toward Shill, and I seriously hope they fix this angst between Bobby and Alex soon, because it's really irritating the fans, from what I've seen.
Excellent post ep, and very timely. This is a great way to sum up the episode and I hope the show follows your example. I think you hit Eames's thoughts right over the head. You're very good at reading the characters that way. So tell me, are we ever going to get any fluff from you, or are you riding the Angst Express all the way over to Serious, Painful Confrontation Town where Bobby and Alex will no doubt end up?
Great story, I'd like to see more so I can at least *pretend* that show-Alex isn't so evil. I want to see her confrontation with Bobby in this venue before they get to it on the show. Please give us more. Please?
