I just love his constantly refers to the Matsudaira's as "those two morons" - just always brings a smile to my face. And the best part is that you know it shows clearly in his eyes when dealing with them, and it just makes you love the pair even more because you know that they can see it as well.
One again he seems to be at a life altering fork in the road (such as his 11th hour stay of execution)and know it: "My fate will soon be sealed." How the stomach squirrels must have been running rampant...
Beautifully done, and I always look forward to everything that you post! Thanks again for all your hard work and these side stories - they have been so much fun! Catch you at the next update of LSFW(?)

"She still has scheduled appointments with other suitors." ~ great one Teru-hime! How is jaw must have clenched after that one...and I liked how she drew it out for another 4 days. What an ulcer inducer! As irrascible as he is now I hope that he starts to doubt himself (and Tokio), always encouraging to see the calm, cool, and collected go through the same motion as the rest of us mortals...
Wonderful job again - I just love your writing, and the way your are portraying the Saitoh/Fujita's earliest times together. I always look forward to your weekend updates! Thanks again for all your hard work and hope to see you again this weekend. ;D

I have enjoyed all your writing, but this particular piece has been my all-time favorite. Not only do Katamori and Teruhime have a wicked sense of humor, but they are wonderful friends and protectors as well. I loved Katamori's little jibbing and Teruhime's fierce sense of appreciation for Tokio and all that she has endured.
I really appreciate all the hard work, effort, and historical research that you have put into all your writing. Always very well done!
I bet that by the end of the 'interview' Saitoh had a nice little ulcer starting to work its way to the front. Do you think that he spent a few restless nights at the Inn wondering how it would all turn out? Can you imagine that upon finally meeting Tokio how frayed he must have felt(and of course, never showing it). I wouldn't be surprised if Teruhime sent a penultimate note alluding to the fact that maybe Tokio wouldn't/couldn't see him...a one last little jab at the Wolf. Just to really hit the notion home that he really better appreciate all that he is getting. I can see Teruhime making Saitoh suffer Tokio's last three years in a one week time...LOL. How the other guests must have suffered as well!
Thank you again for a wonderful read and all that you have put forth. As always, I look forward to more of your updates!
