While I saw some chemistry betwen Mckay and dr Keller in the first episodes of the season (when researching dr Weir's nano's) that was repeated in Trio, I too found it odd that the writers had them go 'for a drink' at the end of the episode when they have been working so ** pairing her with Ronon.
So it was nice to read this Ronon follow-up on the episode.
