Ahhh! This is why I hate starting stories that aren't completed yet! I need to know what happens next! I remember reading the original story and wondering what ever came of the characters. I was thrilled to come across this. It's very well writte, the characters are great, and the storyline is unique. Keep writing! I'm curious to see where it all goes (I'm all for angst/drama but love a good happy ending!).

As much as I would have loved to see Matt Santos and Josh running the country together, killing off Santos is definitely a good twist. You’ve captured the personalities of the characters really well in your writing and as a result your story is believable and a great read for us fans of The West Wing. I look forward to seeing what role Josh is going to have, although I can’t imagine him as anything else but second-in-command to Leo.
I know many readers enjoy the constant drama in Josh and Donna’s relationship, but I have to admit I would enjoy just seeing them happy and bantering like in the old days – I loved the flashback to when Donna just started working for Josh.
With the exception of a few spelling mistakes, this is a great read! I’ll definitely check out "Two Administrations, Two Families" to see how it all started.

I just found your work yesterday and I've read "Two Administrations Two Families" and all of the available chapters of "A Whole New Story" (I'm a fast reader) and I've really enjoyed what I've read thus far.
I would like to recommend possibly going with CJ as Leo's Chief of Staff. In the show, Santos was right to point out how limited Josh would be as Chief of Staff under Bartlet and I believe that would be equally true in the McGary Administration as well. I certainly think that Josh should play a significant role in the story, but I am a die-hard CJ fan and if there's room for her to shine I just thought I would let you know that I would love to see that too!
Anyway, great story and no matter what decisions you make I look forward to reading your stuff in the future.
