I think it's all quite accurate, considering the situation. I mean despite her being all calm and composed all the time in the movie, she had her moments like with Monique in the bathroom. So I believe you're doing a fine job on this.
I just hope you find some inspiration soon to update this fic, I think I've read it through twice already waiting for that one day when you update this fic.

If you want to end it so it follows it has to be two or three chapters. I'm thinking if I were to write it ch. 10 would be Maria running all over campus looking for her and runs into Viola who would tell her the whole story (maybe not writing the whole thing) and it would flash to Olivia's pov when they come to save her. Ch.11 would be a stand off with Malcolm, Viola, Maria, and Oliva. And Ch. 12 would be the epoligoue/ date that they never went on.
But other than that I love the whole entire story so far!

There is nothing wrong with Hanson, they are still my fav band and no one comes close to what they had music wise. Anyway good work, you should reread your chapters before you post em the spelling is off in some crucial places.

As far as chapter flow and writing the characters true to canon goes, I think you're pretty much on target. Olivia, especially, has evolved since the movie so it shouldn't feel like you're writing about the exact same person. That's my two cents anyway. Have a good one.
