for The Guyver meets SG1

You've got a good beginning here - and, hey - 200,000 years is both a lot of time, and an eyblink in geological times. Civilizations can rise and fall and disappear without a trace.
The ancients passed this way, millions of years ago. Then the Creators, stopped in 200,000 years ago, uplifted man, and tossed him back in the trash. Then we're just crawling back up out of the ruins, 10,000 years ago, and the go'auld come along and screw us over. And we crawl back up, and we get to this point, five thousand years after the Go'auld leave the place again.
Really, most of our technological progress has been in the last 400 years, if you really think about it - which is an eyeblink in the Cosmos.
Not all that implausible, not at all.
I certainly wish you'd go on with it from here, but with the IOA, and the US working with the Japanese to excavate the Guyver technology wherever it can be found. It does not have to lobotomize the wearers, obviously - and smart soldiers, like the Army Rangers, or the Sendai Regiment, in Guyver suits, could OWN the Go'aul, and probably the Wraith, also.
"Away all Boarding Parties" would be both different, and yet the same, with Asgard Beaming technology and Guyver Armor.

OK, for the start, I like this story - well told, decent characterization. I'm not at all familiar with the "Guyver" storyline - I had it confused with a strange anime I saw where there was some sort of strange games with an alien machine and a powerful suit.
By the way, the Stargate wiki says the Stargate is 6.7 meters across, I did the math, that means you could drive an ABRAMS - or other MBT through it. - and - although the show never discusses it, if we assume that it is an Atlas missile silo, or Titan - it has a 20 ton cargo elevator to the rear of the silo, for bringing equipment to the base of the missile shaft.
In other words, plenty of room for a HMMV, or similar vehicles. If you want, PM with your email, and I can send you the mathematical proofs and other discussions...but, excellent start, I'm subscribed!

Hi:

I like the story of the way the Guyver and SG1 met.

I did find the part about the jeep incongruent to the story. If they were in a forest, a four-wheeled vehicle would not have found it's way through to the rest of the team.

Making the Stargate bigger was not necessary. If you really wanted vehicles, perhaps a three wheeled bike, although two wheels would have been best. Perhaps a rocket pack?

I also liked the way you made communication a bit more difficult for the two groups.

The series made it seem as if everyone in the Universe spoke English, even worlds that have been cut off for thousands of years.

At least, Farscape had translation microbes and Star TRek had a universal translator. A babel fish would have been helpful, they already had the Goa-uld after all.

In response to Moriko_Nightdream's review.

I also hope someone adopts this fic, maybe you might like a shot at it (hint hint)

Regarding spelling, the English manga and Wikipedia both spell

It "Archanfel", which is where I copied and pasted it from.

Also, the direct and most literal Romanized transition from Japanese Kanji to English letters would have it spelled "Arukanferu"

Great concept, I hope someone picks it up soon though I do feel the need to point out that his name is Alkanphel.

I do hope you will go back and try to add more as guyver is my fav. As to why the armor has the wepons it is all a error. The armor is for the most part a space suit. It is desined to change and adapt so the user can survive in space, underwater or any other envirment and help them in it. When placed on Human that are nothing more then wepons with braind it adapted to help them in the envirments and that ment more wepons.

I'm a little disappointed that you're not expanding it into a full length story all on your own. But I'm glade you did make this little update, it made understanding some parts a lot better.

This is a good idea. I really hope someone takes it on.

Cool story. Hope you write more.

I hope you include Gigantic Upgrade, that armor kicks ** including it's kaijuu-annihilating crimson Excess mode.

This is a pretty good story. I've only noticed a few errors but other than that it's very well done. I hope that you'll continue with it soon. Looking forward to finding out what happens next.

I like it, but you have a few minor details wrong.

First, it was over 200 MILLION, if not BILLION years ago that the Creators came to Earth, not 200 thousand. The Creators were responsible for the creation and eventual extinction of the Dinosaurs. All life on Earth is the result of their meddling, with the possible exception of some bacteria, plants, and some very basic organisms.

Second, the planetoid was the size of the Moon, not Mars.

Third, the Creators gave humans the Bio-Booster armor as is. They made no special alterations on it, the armor is just how it manifests on humans, possibly on the aliens as well.

I'm not sure about the Guyver being the equal of a Zoalord. They're physically as strong as a Zoalord who isn't in battle mode, but I doubt that's their full strength.

Question: Will the Guyver team get the super armor?

Hope to see more soon.
