Another story about Bourne is always good news. Thanks for sharing. Good idea behind this short-short, that David Webb was naive about the true cost of war when he joined Treadstone. However, would that naivety have survived an actual stint in the Army? Unlikely, but that compassion for his countrymen survived, and I wonder what he lived through to keep that passion intact. Maybe seeing others sacrifice themselves kept that caring alive -we certainly hear about real heroes in Iraq sacrificing themselves. - Take care. Tealmoon
