I'm stumped. And too lazy to look back in the story for more clues.
About the blond hair, I have absolutely no idea what's going on. Alex is dead, like, VERY dead, right? I mean, Jones thinks he's dead at least. Ben SAW him die. And this whole arc is supposed to be about Ben finding out why Alex died. So I think Alex is dead, and I can't think of anyone else it would be.
Smithers message. The letters u, K, e, w, a, and p are bolded. But that spells absolutely nothing. Sooooooo I don't know.

Oh my goodness, I am so sorry that I wasn't able to review before now. I was literally just about to press the 'review' button when my computer screen went black. It turned out that the place where I live was having a black out for three hours. It was just my luck that it started when I about to review. Anyways, after that I had to go on a short trip, and I have literally just gotten home. I haven't even been in the house for five minutes, and I'm reviewing!
Anyways, I have to say great job, and thank you for doing this! You made me cry reading it. Also, I think the series of connected songfics sounds great. Update soon!
