I don't normally review stories but I felt compelled to do so to refute what the previous reviewer said. None of it's true at all. Your characters are the most well developed, realistic, believable OCs I've EVER read. Seriously. And I read a ton of fanfiction. Furthermore, your portrayal of Sam and Dean is completely spot on, and your story has the same feel and the same charm as the show. The jokes and banter are completely realistic and well written, and had me laughing out loud throughout the whole story :) And some of the Jayne/Dean scenes actually made me tear up. I've been following this story and the sequel for ages now, and it's my all time favorite fanfiction.
And I appreciate your taste in music :)

For some reason, sometimes when I start reading something I just keep going even if I don't like it very much, and this is me trying to explain to myself why I ever read this fic fully. You destroyed the characters...they were unbalanced and just plain wrong in all scenes that you didn't take out of the original plot. It was a good effort you made with the original characters, but they aren't as well built after thousands of words as the brothers were after the pilot itself. I just plain don't buy the friendships you sell, because the brothers I know wouldn't be friends with such shaky, ever changing in essential points, cardboard cut out people, in a million years
A lot of the joking around and banter seemed very out of character and forced, not to mention it was hard to imagine twenty something battle hardened hunters ever being this immature, and not in a cute way
You overdid it- so bad that I want stronger words for emphasis here. The subtlety that is the fuel of the series is completely missing. Painful reading, it results in
Only in a few moments, where you write Dean and his thoughts and reactions to a romantic relationship do you sound believable, and since the series doesn't really address this issue in season one, its not surprising you didn't contradict the Dean we know
Overall I would never recommend it and I wish I could've stopped reading, but it's my standard train wreck reaction, i just stop and stare in horror sometimes, can't move or nothing. Work heavily on characterization and comic writing, and you may just become readable

And, man, over 500 000 words? The fics that I have all planned out in my head make it to around ten thousand, and after that they sort of die because I just don't feel like writing. Talk about dedication.

This was amazing! I'm so glad there's another volume, I'm going to have to pace myself though. When I watch Supernatural now I find myself disappointed that Jayne and Lynn don't actually turn up. You are great at winding there stories in with the Winchesters.

Can I just say that your fanfiction is amazing. Yours is the only one I keep coming back to over the years to check up on for updates. I love it and it is truly well written and the characters you created are well thought out. You really have a talent. Keep up the good work!

Okay, so I'm too lazy to log in, but I"m reviewing anyway! I just started this story yesterday and I've been barreling through it since, totally absorbed, and thought I should probably review it now :) I love your characters and the way they interact with Sam and Dean. It actually reminds me of a story I wrote for Lord of the Rings where two sisters join the Fellowship. Their relationship kind of reminds me of Lynn and Jayne's. Anyway, I think I might cry when I finish reading this story! It's just so good! You have a gift for writing. I"m really happy I still have thirty something chapters left to read :)

So I have to admit that I stopped reading this story because I was so busy with school and I would just always forget to check it. And then once I missed a whole bunch of chapters, I just never had time to catch up, you know? The same thing happened with me and the show in general haha I missed like 2 seasons.
But then when I was finished school, and actually had a break, I decided to catch up on the show. And then for some reason I started thinking about this story again, and I wondered if you had finished it.
Next thing you know I'm re-reading the whole story, front to back. And I have to say I fell in love all over again. I mean, I remember how much I loved what you did with the characters, but reading it again and actually finishing it I just realized HOW good this story is! I can't tell you how much I love Jayne and Lynn, and all the characters you've added. I also love how you write Dean and Sam, I think you're one of the only authors that I can read because you write their characters so well.
Anyway, this review is turning into a novel haha sorry. I just wanted to let you know how much I loved this whole story, and I cannot wait to read all the other volumes. I can't promise that I'll always read them when you update, but I WILL read them and try to review as much as possible! I completely love everything you're doing with this story and your characters. I cannot wait for more! Definitely starting the sequel soon.
