my first foray into quantum leap fic was a good one. i really enjoyed this story. i liked how you showed the aftermath of leaping. So angsty :)The friendship between sam and al was awesome.

In the last 20 years there have only been 2 TV shows that i have watched with any regularity at all, and Quantum Leap was the better of the 2.

The friendship between Sam and Al is just about perfect, but I also really like how you worked in the peripheral characters, and how they each relate to Sam in their own way. Ziggy's scenes were especially poignant. It would have been nice to see something with Gooshie, too, though. Great job!

I think I liked your ending better than how the series ended itself. True, your ending is touched with some sadness, but at least Sam got home. I was always upset that the series never let him go home. Thank you for making me feel better. This was a sweet story about what real friendship is really all about. Great work!

Ouch - I think that's even sadder than Mirror Image. Well written, but so sad. The Impossible Dream quote reminded me of the Man of La Mancha episode - that episode had the most perfect ending I've ever seen. It makes me feel all schmoopy even now.
