I'm back! I didn't realize you posted so much. Your muse must have hit you hard. I hate that sometimes, I'll wait up in the middle of the night, suddenly have a story idea, I start forming it and I can't get back to sleep until I write it down. Anyways, the fic...
I loved the quote in the beginning, it fit perfectly.
The part where he was demanding answers from the mirror, that was great! Here I go thinking that it really works because in ways, Blair and Chuck are so similar. They only have one present parent who are very similar (Bart and Eleanor are both overly expectant of their children, both cold and not really understanding). Chuck deals with it by drinking and Blair with her unrealistic standards of perfection. Both so destructive.
-And with a score of absolute rage, he threw the glass he was holding straight at the mirror glaring back at him. It shattered; pieces of his reflected self scattered.
I can picture him doing that and it has a parallelis. He's broken, his relationship is borken and his reflection is broken.
The last part was very real. It's so Blair to have to hear it from his lips, just to be sure, because it's Chuck Bass.

Adored the three lines in the ending. I really like it when people end stories like that, a simple finalism, I guess. Good job, again.
