Very interesting story! :) It definitely helps enforce the teaching that even the best of intentions aren't enough to keep someone from taking a dark path.
As to who the Prophet is, would he be the one who played such a prominent role in Warcraft 3? The one called.. Medivh? :D

Nice. I loved it. It's interesting how you put warcraft and slayers together. Hopefully Amelia won't have to deal with the scourge in her world but if she does, at least she knows that no matter what you do, you don't kill your dad. Or kill your people. Whichever comes first.
If you continued this I would definitely read it through too the end!

It was nice to see this story idea realized. Your descriptions are powerful, if you can keep this up in a longer story, it will be most impressive.

Arthas' fall in Warcraft 3 was such a major twist to the story... I guess the real moral to this story is that as long as Amelia doesn't pick up any cursed items, she'll be okay! (Just kidding.) Definitely a good message that even the best intentions can lead to evil outcomes.
(Might this be the prophet who originally warned the king of what was to come?)
