Awesome story line.
I'm so glad you outlined Lorelai's actions and how selfish she could be sometimes. Your take on Luke's reasons for hurting was really insightful. Luke was gruff and grumpy, but we know he always loved Lorelai, Rory, and Jess. This was a perfect little story to make things right.

I like this start.
I so hope Jess will be going back. For Lorelai's and Luke's sake.
It kinda sounds selfish, Lorelai saying she wants Jess to come back because Luke isn't talking to her like he used to. But then she said it's also for Jess' sake, and that was pretty much unselfish, so it should be fine :)

Grr, i don't like Christopher. I hated when Luke was being all cold to Lorelai. Good story.
