Hmm...Avatar characters going bats**t? Well, I have to say that at least the idea's originial. Having read the book and fell in love with the movie, I am looking forward to where you're taking this. It will definitely be a good way to break the monotony of ordinary fanfiction as I am hoping this one will be extraordinary. My one question is do they still have their bending abilities? That's a lovely thought, mental patients with the ability to bend the elements to their will. Imagine the possibilities.

I actually like this, not that I'm picky, but AUs like this are a little hard to do. Me, I think this is good. Suki's part is a little..different, but that's good, right? Bato was so cool, being there.
Anyway, good and cool. I can't wait for the next chapter.

Bato the taxi driver! xD I don't know why I find that funny, but I do. Though I should've expected as much. You've never ceased to brighten my day with your stories, whether they're bloodily violent or cheery & humorous. =)

I think the girl being forced into the police car was Azula...? Very interesting.

I think your story was great and I'd love a sequal. I've thought about a lot of Avatar characters going loopy, but Katara never made it on that list. It is a possibility, though. Well, as long as someone's going crazy, I'm good:)
