I find it distasteful when people complain about the darkness of a CG fic. This isn't a care bear fic, if you think that CG wasn't dark then you must have skipped about 75% of the show. Let the darkness consume and write something beautiful like this. Darkness is as close to reality as we get in writing, happy endings don't exist, although I'll admit those are fun to read as well lol.

People who are getting pissed with this story are failing to see the beauty and also that good stories dont always have happy endings. I must say that this is a melancholy yet beautiful short story.I knew that if Euphemia survived she would have to deal with lelouch's burden placed upon her and threat of her life being taken away. It also makes you feel sympathy for Lelouch; a kid torn between his duties as zero and the feelings of his heart. Nothng was ooc; everything was perfect.

wow, that was so heartbreaking i almost cried..
i just love anything with Euphie and Lelouch and this was one of the best fics i've read about them..and the way you write Lelouch is just perfect, and Euphie was so kind and sweet to him, like she knew that at the end it was an accident..
i loved how you inserted Cornelia and C.C. here and there in the fic..but i was wondering what about Suzaku ?
i loved how he promised to meet her because he totally did! i always thought what happened to Lelouch at the end of R2 was the exact same thing that happened to Euphie, except this time it was on purpose..

I first read this fic on the Lulueuphie livejournal site and I really appreciate such moving words about Lelouch & Euphemia. Now, as I read it a second time here, I've decided to review it. (: Though it's sad Euphie dies here in this fic, I think it's a fitting end that she deserves, so good work ^^b

While it's dark to a degree, that's something I like about it , and the emotional side to the story is very well-written.
This story is certainly what I can call an angst master-piece, although Euphemia's lovers out there might not like it, for me it's still a story to be remembered , so sad and tragic yet so beautiful .

Oh, I adored this. I'm a huge sucker for anything to do with Lelouch and Euphie, and this was a sweet, sweet little AU version of how she could have died... I especially liked her little line about not minding about them killing her, so long as they all knew how sorry she was... it's such a Euphie thing to say.

Hm...interesting little ficlet. A little darker than what I would prefer, but otherwise, this is a well written story. There was certainly a lot of emotion placed here, and you did a good job with the adjectives and the level of detail you placed here. Sad that Euphema had to go, but at the very least, she accepted her fate with a smile on her face. From this, I can only hope that Lelouch can continue on with her memory.
