"This is usually the part where the mysterious stranger offers some small bit of wisdom right?" He asked and gained a small sweatdrop from the three teens. After the three nodded slowly the Anbu looked up at the ceiling in thought before he looked back down at them. "Ah, how about this: I can only show you the door; you're the one that will need to open it."

hi. i'm going to guess, if no one else has yet, that the one in the shadows that saw them was splinter or orochimaru.

5RogueNya
This is an interesting story, I can see the differences between the two show. And so far I look forward to seeing what happens next. More so as to who was watching in that clearing and why they were becoming ANBU at such a young age right after they graduated.

Well, let me first say that I am in absolute love with your spin on this story. However, at chapter three I almost stopped reading it when it was decided that Naruto's brother was going to get the Hiraishin no Jutsu. I decided that you must have had some reason for your decision, so I read on and found that a simple mistake was made. The Hiraishin no Jutsu, otherwise known as The Flying Thunder God Technique is NOT a lightning technique, despite its name. The word Hiraishin is associated with lighting rods and it is belived that just as lightning is attracted to lighting rods Minato is summoned to his kunai in the same manner. It is believed that, just as Naruto, Minato has wind aligned chakra. Assuming this is true, how could his most powerful technique be a lightning technique when wind is stronger than lightning? Personally, I would like to see Naruto with Hiraishin. It is, after all, his birthright, not his brother's... But, if you do decide that ultimatly you don't want Naruto with that jutsu, then at least have a plausible reason. Also, in case you were wondering, the Hiraishin no Jutsu is believed to be a time space jutsu or a reverse summoning jutsu. That all being said please do not take offense to any of this I just wanted to give a little input. You story is great and nowhere near some of those fics that give random people the ability to do the Rasengan, Hiraishin no Justu, or use the Ameratsu(sp) fire. As I said above I love this fic so far. Keep up the good work!

I like the slight crossover of ninja turtles by using Splinter in the story. I look forward to reading your next chapter.
