Cool idea, and for some reason it made me really quite happy. Like vengeful happy.

Aaany way even though you killed of my favorite characters in the end, I still liked it. Prolly because you're redeeming Susan.

Ooh, I just have to say, I really quite like how you went about this. It was *very* well written.
One thing, though, that I feel obliged to point out. This quote, here, from chapter 25:
"Peter- was gone. Peter, you see, didn't exist after that. Peter was laying dead yards away with a hole for the grass to worm through."
You missed a bit of it, but I didn't realize that until I read it again here:
-'Peter- was gone. Peter, you see, didn't exist after that. Peter was laying dead yards away with a hole punched through his stomach for the grass to worm through'-
Granted, I'll readily admit the 'punched through his stomach' bit makes the 'hole' part make much more sense.

... I can't believe it took me this long to realize why you named Cain "Cain". But, anyway, while I'm typing this, excellent story so far. The Old Narnian's certainly interesting, as is the overall plotline. You're doing a very good job of keeping everyone in a believable character. And I'll admit I learn at least one new word each chapter, usually more than that, so your little dictionary at the end is quite appreciated. *grins* At least I know some of the words some of the time...
