Wait, he literally went insane from stress? I agree with Karin, that sounds improbable.
Loved the chronological format. Liked what you did with the people. Ichigo growing obsessive. Hm! And Isshin. Not sure what's up with Kisuke's partial-memory thing. His explanation didn't make much sense, and now that he's clearly remembering non-normal things...opening cracks should just make it easier to claw out the rest, right?
You know, it occurs to me that he can still see ghosts just like always, and they might blow the whistle on things. Unless they're staying away out of fear of power. And/or konso, even though apparently the Gotei 13 have no presence in the town at all, if Ichigo's friends including the Uselesses are pulling Summer Scooby Duty.

Whoah. Yuzu poisoning. I had wondered. The 'teenage reflex' line was kind of lame and the drugged-Ichigo joke wound up weak because his dopey talk didn't derive from anything you would actually expect to /find/ in his subconscious, which is where all that dopey drug stuff comes from as well as where he was lying at the time. I don't know what /is/ in Ichigo's subconscious apart from a sword, a hollow, and a sideways city, mind, let alone his semi-conscious, but I'm pretty sure it isn't 'Rukia's taste in cute things.'
I liked the jackets, though. Heh, why isn't Ishida going for it? It kinda seems like his taste to try to put them all in hand-sewn Hollow Hunters' Uniforms.
...They'd all wind up in Quincy colors with the cross, wouldn't they?
I am also rapidly becoming too tired to leave coherent reviews.

Aaaaaah, but WHY? This chapter made it clear they intentionally took his memory-and how is he supposed to graduate high school on time now? Faking the records for some of it should be easy enough, but for the treatment and other victims...obviously Ryuuken is in on it...
The obvious reason would be so he can't remember something terrible, or after he lost his powers they wanted him to be free to live as if he never had them, but you wrote this before that plot development, so there must be something else.
Anyway, I love this treatment of the consequences of amnesia, especially amnesia like this. The moment when he asked 'do I know you'-I half-expected it, since he wouldn't know Ishida if he did come, but it still got in a pretty good hit.

Whoo. Good serious stuff. I liked how you set the scene and I liked the reference to Orihime's view of reality and I liked Isshin's hug. This felt /solid/ in a way a lot of fanfic (and original fic, for that matter) doesn't, and that despite moving quickly.
And I'm not sure what the situation is, but I am interested to find out.

I don't know if you plan on continuing this one since it's been a long time sine you're last update, however, I be ecstatic if you did continue. I know this doesn't fit with your story, but I still want to point out that Ichigo is already dead. He had his soul chain severed, thus separating his soul from his body. He is basically just using his body as a gigai. Also his body loses its vital signs when he leaves it (people exclaiming that he's not breathing).

What the shit is going on?
This story needs some resolution.
You have a giant conspiracy that Urahara was involved in to kill Ichigo and send him somewhere that seems to have Shinigami. Not to mention the fact they call him Ichigo-sama.
It's really frustrating. While keeping people confused is alright to a degree, going through 7 chapters without any CLEAR idea as to what is going on is just annoying.
Hopefully, you'll start so slip some resolution in there, because it seems like an interesting idea, but the interest is falling away very quickly.

Hey, sorry it took a while to review! I got out of Bleach for a while, and when I finally got back into it, I had over 100 pages worth of stories to browse through! But I finally reached this story (I still have about 60 more pages of browsing to do, though)!
First off, I have to say, I'm very relieved at the beginning flashback! An explanation for why there's been no sign of Rukia and Renji, and definite proof that they, at least, are only involved in protecting Ichigo. I'm still worried about the rest of SS, though...
Still quite a mystery as to what's going on, though. I wonder how the confrontation between Isshin and Urahara ended. I mean, there's no way Isshin was just going to back off, right? Well, I guess I'll see next chapter. Have fun and good luck writing it!

Oh no! He's dead! I wonder how he'll react to that. Not well, I'd imagine...
So, it feels like the story is finally picking up momentum. To tell the truth, everything else just felt like you were filling in the back story, and now is when the action is going to take place. :)

Well, I'll only come to like those OC-s if they are nice to Ichigo and doen't leave him in dark about what the hell has been going on :) At first I thought he was killed with malicious intentions but now it seems he's being called Ichigo-sama and provided with all comforts - is he in Heaven?
