im really confused. is sammy half-vampire or something?

i thought she and matt were both humans.

cause you put 'I was across the room and out of reach before he could blink' and that could only be done by a half-vampire or a vampire.

Who is Matt? I get that Sam is Renee and Phil's kid and that Renee and Phil presumably died, but I don't get who Matt is. Boyfriend? Brother? Best friend?

Are Edward and Bella not seeing Sam and Matt because they're upset? I mean, after all, Renee was Bella's mom. Or are they afraid of Sam and Matt's reaction to them?
