This is probably one of my favorite Merlin fics I have read so far, just thought you would like to know.
A few hours ago, I got bored so I looked up Arthur and Gwen up on Wikipedia (the best place in the world), and I started to become very angry with both Lancelot and Gwen. I mean, how could someone do that to someone as amazing and wonderful and hot as Arthur? But then, after reading your epilogue, I remembered that Arthur has Merlin, which has to be just about one of the best pairings ever. So everyone is (slightly) happy.

Loved it! Awesome job, love the angst and the h/c, very well written. Good job with the characters as well. Probably could have benefited from a good beta but didn't take away from how much I liked this one. Thanks!

Huh... you need to check this story as completed btw. And honestly I think you should have ended this one chapter earlier... this last chapter seemed so unnecessary and pointless. Chapter 14 ended well and I really don't think this last chapter adds anything to the original plot.

Well I was a little surprise to find that there was more than friendship between the boys (because it wasn't written in the summary or in the Genre of the story). Maybe it is because I didn't bother to read the authors notes :P
Nevertheless, it doesn't really matter because I LOVE YAOI!. xD And this story is so cool ! I started to watch Merlin not long ago (today xD) and stopped at the thenth episode ; WHY DIDN'T HE REVEAL HIMSELF ! It was so frustrating xD I would have loved to see the show continue with the fact that Arthur knows about Merlin. Well...
And then I started to search for a different story where Merlin had to reveal his power... And here I found yours ! Incredible. It... just fit ! A little of angnst, love and... so cool ! The only thing : I would have liked a different ending... I understand it, but I would have liked that Gwen and Artur were married just for the show and that each of them would have there own love story behind the scenes...
The complication of the end just add more angst that I find a little useless. But... apart from that... GREAT WORK !

LOVE LOVE LOVE this fic. I thought the part where Arthur kissed Merlin after rescuing him made the perfect ending. The rest that came afterwards became a little dull because the suspense has already gone.
HOWEVER, I still HEART this fic because. firstly, it is one of the better written Merthur fics. Secondly, enough effort was made to develop the character's emotions and reactions. Thirdly, because there was Merlin acting all docile and Arthur beating himself up over that (oh yes) and lastly, because you made a genuine effort to link it all back to the original legend which we all know and love.
THANK YOU for this fic.
