I liked this quite a bit, especially since I'm not a big fan of slash.
The wine you mentioned has roots in Greek myth. There is a fountain in the Underworld that Hades once used to attempt to take over. He lured the gods there, and told them to take a drink from the fountain. They did, and they found that the liquid in the fountain tasted wonderful. They continued to drink from it, and began to loose their memories and their powers. Eventually, Hercules comes around and saves the day. At least, I think it was him...Whatever, you get the drift.
Wonderful story. Keep writing!

Well, I think it was a great chapter. You little comments before and after are making me guilty. That's why I am reviewing now instead of just waiting until the end of the story.
I like it. I think you've got them really in character. Morgana/Arthur, yes, but from what I understand, only as sort-of siblings. All of that sounded like something Morgana WOULD do. And she did make a little comment about 'it' be more...

That's such a sad ending T_T...I know in the original stories that is what happens with Lancelot and Guinevere, but still I was never one for tragic endings even if it was the best ending to the tale. I love the depth of emotion that you give both Arthur and Gwen on being unfaithful to each other. You don't make them out as uncaring about the situation nor do they seem to just reach a mutual agreement with no strings attach, and it hurts them because they really are friends and were once in love. Plus with this ending it feels more complete, with a hint of the tragedies to come. So 2 thumbs up! ^_^ On a random side note, I probably missed it but is Gaius still alive? Well I'm off to read your other stories!

Though I knew Merlin and Arthur would still be together in the end, I felt bad for Merlin in the beginning. That ending was absolutely brilliant and I enjoyed reading this very much.
