Excellent chapter...i liked the switch between present (even the non shipper that i proclaim to be) and the past. You write young Bobby so well. It doesn't surprise me in the least that his father would hire him a prostitute- it was a great line, Bobby telling his dad that he was immune to him now, bravo Bobby!
My hubby of x amount of years, but younger than Bobby has a lot of grey hair (its a genetic thing) and, like Alex, i don't notice it at all.
Am working on something of my own, stay tuned ;)

Typical of Bobby's father that he would think to give him that for his 16th birthday. Glad that his mom remembered his birthday. That had to have been tough for her to come up with that money for his birthday present.
Even though I am not a B/A shipper, I am glad that he is married and has a child; I think that is what he has always wanted. And Bobby does deserve some happiness. Good chapter.

Loved the flashback, although his dad...what a slime ball. And, the established BA is nice in this chapter. So sad he never really enjoyed his b-day.

that was sweet! i feel so sad for bobby, growing up with such a screwed-up dad. it figures that he would have a good sense of right and wrong even at 16, just as he does later in life. loved the scene where the girls notice bobby is buff!

That was an interesting little story. I can certainly see an older woman being intersted in a young Bobby. And I can see Bobby being a mature 18 year old, already wise to the ways of the world, having been forced from a very young age to fend for himself. So his giving advice to an older woman is not surprising, nor is the fact that he would not take any money from her. Great story! Looking forward to the next.
