Oh my gosh it's taken me forever but I'm finally reading this, (although I think I may have begun at one point. Can't imagine what stopped me from finishing)
This chapter right here sums up everything that made me so angry with Edward. Everything he did he claimed to be doing for Bella, sacrificing his happiness for her. But it was the most selfish, self-absorbed thing he ever did and it makes me so mad I could scream.
I'm definitely with Alice on this one. Let him lie in the bed he made. He deserves it.

Yep. I'm sort of from New Orleans. Katrina was bad but I lived 30 min away from the city which didn't get hit bad. But a lot of house in the city still haven't been repaired. Some are standing on only cement blocks. I hate going there now. Brings back bad memories from the Katrina days.

When Carlisle started crying... :( You've really made Edward terrifying, which is GOOD because I'm picturing lots of angst-fuelled-action XD I really can't stress how amazing your actual writing is either - I just want to read more and more! The train scene, especially, was so good, really upsetting and so full of love too... Great chapter :)

I wish I could actually see all of the houses Esme has redesigned... I bet they're all beautiful. I'm loving the attention to detail - I just can't keep back the tidal wave of pity I feel for Edward, even though the logical part of my brain always tells me it was Edwards' own fault that he became depressed because of leaving Bella and not realising that neither of them were going to get any better... Will definitely be reading more! :D

I can't wait to read more - your writing style is great and the characters seem really accurate as to how I pictured them so I'm VERY glad about that :D Also, though I usually cringe at this sort of thing, Go Team Carlisle! Hehe XD I'm not a massive twilight fan if I'm honest (in fact I used to loathe it with a passion but now I'm just sort of neutral about it) but I think I'm going to enjoy this :)

That story was gorgeous in every sense of the word: lush, heartbreaking, insightful, poetic, restorative. I have purposely avoided New Moon fics from Edward's POV because I'd assumed I'd be bored or drowned in angst. But the juxtaposition of Edward and Carlisle's take on things was both logical and illuminating. I am SO GLAD this is the first I've read of its kind, and you've set the bar so high, it is likely to be my last. THANK YOU for writing this story. I cannot wait to rec it to readers of my AU New Moon fic.
