I am very late to this story, but it's completely captivating me. Your writing is top-notch; it flows, it beckons, it explains, it shimmers and it doesn't make me have to figure anything out. The characterizations are fluid and true, especially the tug between Anakin/Vader and Leia. Every interaction has a purpose and there's a step forward (Anakin), followed by a step back (Vader) that is achingly beautiful.
Of course, as an Ani/Padme fan, I'm reaching for tissues when Ani/Vader's musings about his wife turn wistful. And, although this story is about saving Luke, I really haven't missed the character of Luke at all.
By all means, please continue. I'll be reading faithfully. Thanks for this!

Easily the best Star-Wars fanfiction I have read, really. The plot is awesome and a totally new idea, the characters are absolutely perfect - I mean the way you write Vader/Anakin is just mindboggling. He still has Vaders kickassery and epicness while being somewhat good, together with Anakins regret. You gotta love him - while sometimes wanting to hit him at the same time. Awesome. This is something I also read for the first time - normally it's a complete 100% turnaround and he becomes a goody-two-shoes. Aaaand that's just not logical. At all.
So the crux of this review? Please don't abandon this awesome story. Even though this is an anonymous review, I will check on this story. Every week, hoping that there will be a new chapter to this epicness. P

This is one of the most beautiful stories I ever read ...the way you describe Vader/Anakin is sublime because it's so real: I mean, he's being Vader for 23 years, he can't change all of sudden but we can always see the shadow of Anakin, his struggle and regrets for the life he lost many years ago...and I find the plot is very original...
I see it's quite a years you don't update, I don't want to be intrusive or to hurry you...but I hope with all my heart you don't abbandon this beautiful story, you take all your time but please try to continue it...it deserve to be continued...
