And it's interesting to find out that the .32 round seems to be weaker when used in pistols than in rifles in Fallout 3. Then again, only "rifle" I had the last time I played the game was the BB rifle you get at the start of the game. Really need to get my hands on a copy of the game, probably the GOTY edition if it has all the DLC included in it.

Oh...now I REALLY wanna see how Coyle reacts to seeing the people of Megaton have a real A-bomb as their town statuary. Cue all kinds hilarious snark about the sheer insanity of Capitol Wasteland residents, methinks ;D
Nice tough with the tip o' the hat to the logs found at the school about Boppo's demise...had some fun clearing it out, if only for the fact those giant mutated ants were right stinkers to fight off :S

Wow...41 decades is definitely a good long time for holding a grudge, I must say. All kinds of funny to see how Coyle razzed Allison about things like the Confederates firing first on their attack on Fort Sumter. That kind of stuff would presumably get left out of a Virginian's history lesson, now that those "damnyankees" aren't running a federal govt. no more ;D

Nice story so far, I especially like your theories of how the Capital Wasteland works. Please continue writing. I just have a couple of question though. Why is Coyle traveling around the US?
Since you are treating Van Braun as canon wouldn't the NCR forces realize that a seizable Brotherhood force has relocated to DC either through captured records or communications?

This story is getting better every chapter. I like the way that you keep the main characters on the move so they wouldn't bump into the Lone Wanderer yet.
I looking forward to Coyle encountering the Brotherhood or maybe the Outcast. Perhaps Coyle could have met some of them before on the battlefield back in West Coast?
Also, what is Coyle's rank in the NCR military? I would think that he is an officer or at lease a NCO since he is given such an important mission.
I can't wait for your next update!

I've always thought the .32 rifles were stronger cause their barrels... are well rifled. Thus the bullet spins and giving it added penetration... its probably both. XD
It is confirmed that up north Canada is now the Commonwealth perhaps they get foodstuffs from there too?

I love how you actually notice and care two different guns firing the same bullets have the same effect. You really do a good job on the kind of details that make the story seem more real. Having over a hundred updates in the year and a half since I found your stories is awesome as well.

I ran into the hunters once or twice on my adventures in the DC Wasteland as well. I picked them off and took their leather armor.
