Very sweet and well written! *coughs, places "Amy" in for "Hermione"* ^_^ I love Fred's tenderness with her - I just love when boys can become so damn fairytale sweet for a girl, no matter what they are normally like. I expect Disney has a lot to do with that. Grr.
The only protest I have is that things move very quickly. Yeah, things like that can definitely happen in a day if one is so overcome with lust, but for romance purposes, I personally prefer the "take it slow" style. I'm one for small hints over a few days, and slowly moving in to making out and what have you...However, I am quite aware that many others, most likely including yourself, enjoy the "OMG GET INTO IT!" style, so I shall not say any more.
Romantic and cute, and just how I imagine Fred would be with a girl. I like that neither of them said "I love you," because that just drives me nuts when people say it right away. It's like...come on. I also like that you keep the characters' personalities - I see it far too many times when people take a character and turn them into something they are not. That also drives me nuts - create your own character if you're not going to keep their personality, right? Anyway, it can prove very challenging to maintain a personality and not allow it to go astray, especially when it is someone else's character.
In all, nicely done. Well written. Yay. ^_^
