I listened to the song as I read and I only had one thought, "Awesome". The song totally fits what the pally was doing. but as one writer to another I think I would have saved that last sentence for after the end of the lyrics. :) that's just me though

That was a really good story. I dunno if you meant to or not, but you left a huge opening for a sequel. Think about it. Stratholme, a city known for being infected with the scourge plague. A paladin fueled by revenge (Lich King would definitely have his on on him) and he just died. Three words. Death Knight material. :)
