Well at least Xena is with Callie and Seth, but it was very stupid of Xena to move so quickly away from Gabrielle. I can see Gabrielle tell off both Xena and Callie with Xena being denied the loving of Gabrielle from awhile and Callie from being denied the comfort of sitting down for awhile lol Because Gabrielle will be thinking the worst that Alti has taken Xena, Callie and Seth. Xena better find the chakram of light quick before Gabrielle and the Hawkbrothers go off to hunt Alti down. Especially Gabrielle because she will be out for blood if she thinks Alti has Xena!

Its really nice to see Solan talking with Callie and being the big brother. I do wonder what will happen when he finally returns and how the dynamic will change with Rylie. Its good that Xena is on the mend, but I feel keeping her in that room is going to drive her nutts.

I'm looking forward to seeing Kaylin more because it will a new member of the family. I found the scene really interesting about Xena feeling lonely in her mind, I think she really needs her family around her I think it makes her feel whole. I also think it shows that she is starting to mentally come around to this universe being her home and not Greece. I mean she does not have to deal with Ares here which has taken a load of her shoulders.

So why isn't Uthro telling Solon where the Chakram of Light is? What is the secret behind it? I hope the companions contact Valdemar soon so Leenas can tell them of the scroll that he has found about the Chakram! As for Kaylin Xena will be pissed off if they don't tell her when Kaylin goes into labour! Lysander should at least let Gabrielle know so she and Callie will be there! As for Xena, they better find something soon or she is just going to walk out of ekel lol

Sounds like that Gabrielle and Xena are about to inherit another child and I think Gabrielle might know this ;0) So is solon going to pass on the information that Xena is the only one there who can remove a stone from the chakram? So was it Callie that help trigger Rylie's vision after she found out what the mages were trying to do? As Uthro said answer one question and create ten more :0/ Had to laugh at Xena ans her weakness for sweet treats, however her greatest 'sweet' weakness is Gabrielle ;0)

Clearly Xena is very bored, you can see it in how she's acting and I agree with the other reviewer Gabrielle must feel really tired right now you can tell that holding the family is on her shoulders. I really don’t like where Alti’s going with her thoughts I can sense a really twisted evil plan there and knowing Alti she has no mercy even when it comes to cursing children which she did to Solan in the series I just hope Xena and Gabrielle can stop her I’m betting knowing her she’ll want that godly power for herself.

Talk about moody, Xena really has gotten up on the wrong side of the bed. I am really glad though that she's awake I was concerned, I also feel that all the children are really starting to embrace their gifts in there own way. Callie seems very much in control of hers while Solan is becoming more and more powerful, its just Rylie who needs to get it together fully. I am glad though that she starting to be the big protective sister to Callie I think Callie needs that.

Even though Xena is cranky at Gabrielle for tricking her she should understand Gabrielle did it for her own good. If she did what Gabrielle wanted her to do in the first place, Gabrielle would not have had to trick her. She is always brushing aside Gabrielle concerns, which in turn is rubbing off on Rylie and Callie doing the same to Gabrielle :0( Oh and Xena would be angry if Gabrielle started brushing off her concerns. If Xena keeps going the way that she has, she might push Gabrielle too far. I hope Gabrielle nuts out why Alti didn't/couldn't hurt Xena. Also I hope they find a mage to get rid of the 'other' mark! As for Solan, maybe with his help, he and Uthro can find the answer how to free his mother from the other touch.

Your story was pretty interesting for the most part but like so many others..left unfinished and I dont know how to find if it will ever start up again anywhere.
I also dont enjoy (and your's isn't the only story) how the autors seem to always turn Xena into a whimp when it comes to dealing with Gabrielle.
Even in the Xena Series it use to just irk me when Gabrielle would deliberatley disobey Xena's directions but at least in the stories Xena stayed stoic when dealing with her and friendship won out without Xena looking like a whipped pup.
I do like when they have kids enter the picture and watch them struggling with child rearing...

This chapter has a lot of good about it. Xena and Rylie have the much needed heart to heart. This feels like an excellent conversation between Mother and Daughter, but more importantly, Rylie's feelings haven't been cast aside by anyone here, not Xena, not the bard, not anyone.
Finally, Rylie is going to learn what she is going to need to survive. Being a herald in this world, you would need some of those combat skills, and who better than Xena to finally teach.
I really feel that Rylie keeps progressing, and this is a good thing. A character must good forward, and she seems to be doing so, albiet slow at times, but progressing.
I do dislike how the whole sword angle was dropped after a couple of chapters, could have been great. Oh Well.
Overall, I feel that Xena is approaching this not as the mighty warrior, but as the mother who cares about her daughter, and that mother happens to be a killer with a sword.
